OUR STORY
It started with a reminder.
It became a movement.
Fall in love with yourself, beautiful.
Our Story
CHULA began in 2019 with a simple yet powerful phrase: “Enamórate de ti misma, Chula” — fall in love with yourself. What started as a message of self-love gradually became the foundation of a much bigger vision. Through years of creative work and conversations around self-worth and identity, the purpose behind CHULA became clearer: empowering women to recognize their worth, trust their potential, and pursue the lives they envision for themselves. As the message grew beyond social media and into real-life community events, women began connecting, collaborating, and creating opportunities together. Those connections revealed the potential for something greater than a community alone. Today, CHULA HQ is evolving into an ecosystem that brings community, coaching, business, creative services, and products together under one mission: helping women believe in themselves, bet on their potential, and build lives they're proud of.
Helping women become who they’ve always been capable of becoming .

ABOUT THE CEO
Entrepreneur, creative visionary, and community builder, Vanessa Guzman is the founder of CHULA HQ — a brand built at the intersection of self-belief, ambition, creativity, and community. With a background in leadership, operations, and program development, Vanessa brings a strategic mindset and a passion for bringing ideas to life. Her work has always centered on building programs, creating opportunities, connecting people, and turning big-picture visions into actionable results.
Today, she's bringing that experience into a vision of her own: building a platform that empowers women to invest in themselves, pursue their ambitions, and connect with others who inspire them to grow. Through CHULA HQ, Vanessa is creating more than a business. She's building a brand and community that celebrates women in every stage of becoming — whether they're launching a business, exploring a new creative direction, working toward a personal goal, or simply ready to do something more for themselves.
Her philosophy is simple: you don't have to wait until you feel ready to start building the life you want. You just have to be willing to bet on yourself.
THE WOMAN BEHIND CHULA
I've always believed there's more waiting for us than the lives we sometimes settle into. More to create. More to experience. More of ourselves to discover. But wanting more and believing you're capable of more aren't always the same thing.
Like so many women, I've experienced seasons of questioning myself, navigating change, and figuring out how to move forward when the next chapter didn't look the way I imagined. I've learned that growth isn't always glamorous, confidence can feel far away, and becoming the woman you envision requires more than simply dreaming about that lifestyle. It requires actually choosing yourself, even when it's uncomfortable. Trusting your ideas enough to pursue them. Giving yourself permission to start again, change direction, and build something that reflects who you're becoming.
I also realized that the desire to grow doesn't belong to one type of woman. You don't have to be an entrepreneur to be ambitious. You don't have to have everything figured out to deserve community. And you don't have to wait to start creating a life that feels destined for you. That realization became part of the foundation for CHULA. I wanted to build something that brought together the things I believe help women move forward: self-belief, meaningful connections, creative expression, and the courage to take action on what matters to them.
CHULA is an extension of that vision, but it's also a reminder to myself. That we can continue evolving. That our past doesn't have to dictate our future. And that we are allowed to create something meaningful, even if we're still growing along the way. I'm not building CHULA because I believe I've reached some perfect final version of myself. I'm building it because I believe in the power of becoming — and I want to create something that helps other women believe in that power, too. You’re allowed to reinvent yourself over and over again.
